Sally's Holiday Homes are exactly the way she describes them. They are a ‘home away from home’ where everything you could possibly need is provided: from a fully equipped kitchen, to guide books and then DVDs if you fancy a night chilling out after walking the wonderful trails in the vicinity of both of her homes. Her Bellagio apartment is located in a wonderfully authentic local village just above Bellagio, frequented by so many tourists. You really do feel like a local returning to your own apartment after a day out and about around Bellagio and Lake Como.

Casa Fagolina is beautifully located in the Sabina, famous in Italy for its olive oil, and everywhere you look there are sweeping views of olive tree filled valleys. From here there are many small, picturesque villages to visit. The local village of Canneto offers all you need with a local supermarket and a wonderful restaurant and pizzeria with a reknowned chef. To sit on the balcony, drinking in the expansive views at sunset while sipping on a glass of vino, is just pure heaven. I can't wait to go back.

Lovely apartment, fantastically kitted out with everything you could require plus more. Our family (two adults, two children) had a lovely time -- the boys could play in the bountiful garden (gorgeous cherries, fragrant herbs and other offerings no doubt as good if the time is right). And if we'd a full compliment of working feet among us (partner had broken heel) we could have gone on some beautiful walks. The countryside surrounding is lovely and accessible straight from Sally's house, and there's plenty to do for day trips (mineral spas, roman ruins mediaeval towns etc). We'd certainly go again.

We had a fantastic week in Sally's Casa Fagiolina apartment near Rome. It was a wonderful Italian home from home for our family of five, including two lively boys and their 84 year old grandfather. Sally has thought of everything to make the apartment comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy time together. Inside and out, the apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped, with lovely garden and wonderful views from the terrace over the surrounding hills. Canneto had everything we needed in a short walk, including shops, post office, church and trattoria, and the larger supermarket was only a 10 minute drive. We found that it was easy and cheap to travel to Rome by train from the local station. For us, this is the perfect holiday combination of city adventure and country relaxation. We will be back and highly recommend Casa Fagiolina to others.
